Start8 button has changed automatically

from Stardock Forums

My Start8 v8.31 button looked like below till yesterday night

but overnight it has changed to

Is this some kind of update ?? Please explain..

That is not anything we have done.  All Start8 updates require the user to install them.

Try clicking on the default radio button in Start8 config and see if it reverts back to normal.

Also if you click that button in the taskbar, does it open the Start8 menu?

Clicked on  Start8 radio button & it worked fine..

Clicked on the Default radio button but...

when I click that button I get

I am confused.

Have you deleted any of the images in the Start8 StartButtons folder?

To set it back to normal set it to custom and browse for default.png in the StartButtons folder.
