Maximized Windows Cut Into Taskbar On Win8

My maximized windows seem to cut into the top of the transparent taskbar on Windows 8. It should be aligned to stop at the top of the taskbar.

Is this just how Windows 8 works or is this a problem with WindowBlinds?
