Magnar conquers Wildlands of the Deorcynsse on turn 55?

Turn 54; Magnar power rating 19, my power rating 21.  Challenging settings on world and AI.  I have a single stack, using leather and spears, 6 units total, lead by one champ; strong rating.  Turn 55, magnar clears a wildlands, power rating goes up to 85.

Is this intended?  Is this possible?  I know I couldn't clear a wildlands with what I had in 55 turns.

Slaves, Magic, autoresolved battles. It is possible. To get a better idea it might be good to save your current progress. Go back to a previous save and enable cheats. Turn off the fog and see what he trashed it with. Just remember slaves are CHEAP. You can build a ton fo them fast.

Thanks, Illauna.  I have an answer now as to how he did it.  He marched a 3 stack of 3 slave militia army, uncontested, into the wildlands and took the undefended city.  That seems unlikely, as I watched that army park itself, turn after turn, inside the wildland next to superior forces from the land, and not get challenged.  I don't suppose slave militias have that "monsters will ignore you" thing?

Your welcome.

I haven't disabled the fog of war enough to see this for myself but I've run across many reports of the AI being ignored by monsters. I would post a save of when this is happening so it can be fixed.

I once took over Deorcynsse on turn 20.  It's usually poorly defended and you can maneuver around the stuff walking around especially if you're playing Tarth or somebody like that.

I had a similar experience in one of my games.  Umber took over that wildland before I could even settle my second city.  I think Deorcynsse migh be a bit of a pushover.  Does any of the stuff in the write up for the wildland affect gameplay?  I've only ran into it that one time that Umber took it over and didn't have a chance to explore it.  It would be cool if your units were randomly teleported around the area every two turns or something like that.
