stardockuser12:

What is the date on the email response?

Support clearly stated it forwarded your issue to the dev team.

This suggests to me (at least) that your issue is complex and that the chance a random member could solve it is slim to none.

Therefore, why are you posting it here?

I would suggest you write to support by replying to the email you are quoting above, and ask what the status of your matter is.

from past experiences towards stardock email support, I think I will get better chances to get support over the forum.

Doc has the right of it Stardockuser12. Support exists for this very reason. Without knowing your issue, as per this thread, the chances of a solution are slim. To quote above post.

its skin issue, I don't think it's relate to OS/hardware. Skin itself is bugged, If you have windowblinds 8.01 just apply precision skin and see it yourself.

Please fix the theme, it's the only skin I use over a year plus.. It looks like it's been overlap by something.. Fix it please

look at the screenshot.

his date get's cut off. if that Precision skin is one of the default skins shipped with the app, that's a not so great performance.

the skin was probably developed by somebody not using the US date format. where i live, we use dots and not slashes what, depending on the font but in most cases, uses less space.

i don't know about SkinStudio, but this software can't be so bad that it could take longer than five minutes to fix one width setting.

Please fix it please, I not living in the US, please provide support to non-US users please. is it possible to get a refund from WB7-8.01 upgrade?

The problem is not with the skin. I have Windowblinds 8.01 and Precision runs flawlessly. Any modifications to the skin can be done using SkinStudio. I don't do Windowblinds and can't help you with this. Wait for some one who knows SkinStudio. They'll be able to help. Please be patient.

While Precision is a fine skin, it may need adjustments for recent changes. The issue here isn't what country you reside in, rather, it is one of property rights. Stardock Design owns those rights and while any good skinner may be able to "fix" it, the result couldn't be reuploaded and/or shared with anyone. You can try asking for help in making those adjustments yourself if you wish.........I am sure someone here can translate into Australian for you.......;)
Your best bet is to have a little patience.

I looked at this on Windows 8 and could not see any issues, but I did encounter an unrelated issue on that OS to do with some skins and the lines of text not being aligned as I would like.  However on Windows 7 I was able to see a pixel or two being clipped from the text in this one theme and WB has been modified to give it a few more pixels to avoid this problem.

This will be in the next WB update, though as of right this second we have no launch date for that, but I would guess next week or the week after depending on internal testing resource availability.

how can I get a refund from windows 7-8.01 upgrade?

Please be aware that we expect all customers to behave in a respectful manner on these forums.  Bad language is not tolerated and we will ban people from the forums if this happens repeatedly.

As mentioned above there will be an update to WB which will address this issue in the coming weeks.

While I do not agree with this persons use of foul language, I loaded the Precision skin on Windows 7 64-bit and it does in fact have this issue with the clock text being cut off in the tray area. As a temporary fix may I recommend the use of Atomic Clock ( http://drive-software.com/ ) as it fixes the issue.

I was just expressing myself and what is wrong with that? it's already been Quote by a staff and it won't help by just removing mine. Could you people stop pretending to be a staff and mislead the user here? It's frustrating the craps you guys gave.

Thanks for looking into the problem! Also I made a post in WindowBlinds application compatibility issues, Warcraft III client wasn't skinned at all, could it be fixed in the next version too?
