Start 8 - Unlocking the Taskbar?

Saturday I got a new laptop with Win8 installed, so the first thing I did was to install Start 8.  I'm happy with it so far, but am wondering, is there a way to get it to retract/hide?  I right clicked on it and unchecked "Lock the Taskbar", but that didn't do it.  I looked through all the configuration options I could find, but no luck.  Any advice appreciated.

If you mean set the taskbar to autohide, you do that the same way you did in Windows 7.  Right click on the taskbar and pick taskbar properties.
