Make that two threads....not a good idea (IMO)

While I've asked for input on skins/wallpapers I don't think that actual advertising is a good idea (at least as root thread topics).

I have nothing against someone promoting their work inside a thread as a logical part of that thread. For example, if someone asks where they can find halloween skins I have no problems with promoting any halloween skins you have done.

And btw, nice wallpaper I like your blue stuff even more

anyway, I am not sure its wrong to say "hey everybody tell me what you think of this" in a thread, but I think (especilly after the reaction to this thread) it would be better to say that in the comments area of the work when you upload. That way it is right next to the image in question.
