After "upgrading" to 8.1, now I have to log-in?

I've been using Start8 for a good while now, and had it set to boot right to my desktop with no need to log-in.   Yesterday however I made the mistake of upgrading to the 8.1, and also the latest version of Start8. Now I have to type in my Microsoft account password every time the machine boots up, which is already very tedious.

Is there any way to get rid of this and boot straight to my desktop?

Thanks.

Hi

Just reset desktop login by pressing windows icon+r ,when you have booted up, for run dialogue and type" netplwiz" (without exclamations marks ) and automate your login in by recording your password

Win8.1 update causes this problem

Yes as Compexpert has said this isn't a Start8 thing, it is a Windows 8 setting which 8.1 seems to have reset.  Start8 has never offered an autologin option, only the option to go to the desktop when you do login.
