Start Background Problem

When I change Start Background to one of my wallpapers in Pictures, change is made initially. However, it changes back to default background without any notice or action on my part. It does not seem to "hold" the background I select. Is there a way to keep this from happening? Thanks.

Are you using Windows 8 or 8.1?

If 8.1 is your account used on another machine as the OS account syncing could be causing it.
