My enjoyment of this game is ruined. After the last update the AI titan seems indestructible in difficult level. Against eight battleships and a fully upgraded star base while the shields went down it never got below 92% damage, consequently it then went on to wipe everything out at a time when i was in what should have been an invincible position. AM I MISSING SOMETHING? I enjoy the game but no longer want to play as it is too easy in normal level and seemingly impossible at any higher level. Help

What LVL titan was and what race?

As for titan and how to kill it? Best bet is if you drain it of AM with either Dunovs Kortuls or Radiance abilities. Depend on LVL of titan you will need more than 1 of them and have more than 1 point of ability invested. Another best bet is bombers. A lot of them.

It is a fact that VL titan is hardest to kill since desperation its AOE ability doesn't need AM therefore for it bombers or corvettes are a must have. Rest if you drain them AM they become sitting ducks that can be attacked with normal ships.

Corvettes work great as well but they will die to support fleey quite fast and higher lvl titan it gets less effective they become. If you decide for corvettes you need about 80 for lvl 1 to 3 titans and about 150 for 3- 6 to take it down in decent time. Keep in mind that that is if titan is alone. 

If you are playing vasari 1 turret with passive regeneration disable ability will do the trick to stop him spamming abilities after he uses all AM.....

But yes I to agree that titans were made I win button once you get them lvled up. AI though is stupid and can easily waste them.

EDIT: you do have to retreat your capitals and repair them in neighbouring gravity well then send them back.

Best bet against Titans are heavy cruisers. Lots of them. The AI has poor management of ability use, so you can drain his AM pretty fast as he uses them on auto, and he wastes huge amount of AM in no time, especially the VR titan.

TOUGH this only works against low level AI titans, all of them until level3. Above it you need to use bombers, 70-100 squadrons will do the trick, just keep sure the titan cannot reach any of your ships so avoid it at all cost. Bombers will kill it in no time if he has no brutal fighter support. IF he has, than MAKE YOUR OWN TITAN. Seriously, it's not that hard. Your titan will tank the huge damage for a long time until your other ships drain AM and kill that thing. No titan is unstoppable, just drain their AM, maybe make them weaker with your abilities if you can, and when it's gone you won the game, as he will take huge losses before re-building it.

 

Oh, and what Greg said, don't let your capitalships die, thats a really bad thing to do. If you see one is actively being attacked, order it to leave the gravity well. No need to stand there waiting for the inevitable death.

 

Oh, and what level AI was involved in your fight? (difficult has no meaning in Sins..)
