[crash] 1.3 blue screen crash during tactical combat

I get a lot of crashes. Probably averaging a bit over 1 per 2 hr session.

They come in 4 varieties:

  1. Crash to blue screen with dos-style text saying that the PC is shutting down to protect it. Says dumping physical memory. Reboots
  2. The PC locks up. ctrl+alt+del has no affect. Need to power off.
  3. Screen hangs. Goes through various black or grey screens and finally comes up with a Windows box saying Fatal DX error.
  4. Screen hangs. Goes through various black or grey screens, minimises LE, but then recovers back to LE with an extra large cursor, but will usually play on from there.

I thought I'd start posting them, if it will help?

The debug.err in  http://pastebin.com/gJgKnDsq is for a type 1 crash.

This was early in the first tactical combat of the session. This is the most common time to crash but not the only one.

There was no LegendaryHeroesxxxxzzzzxxxzzetc.zip file created.

BSOD crashes are typically indicative of a hardware (overheating, defects) or driver issue--normal software can't cause them alone on modern versions of windows.

Since your video drivers are three years old, updating those should be first order of business. Failing that, you should be able to write down the error message from the BSOD and google it to get some idea as to what may be going wrong.
