hanging hour glass/attack icon

Not sure if anyone else is experiencing this or if it's on my side.  When there are lots of things to process the cursor get's stuck at the hour glass or attack rather than the normal sword.  This is especially annoying when the new hero arrive screen pops up because It's hard to hover over the hero  attribute icon to see what they offer.  Most of the time, I choose a hero base on what they look like since my hour glass prevents me from finding out what the heroes offers. 

my drivers are up to date and I don't have any other programs running.

I do have an intel quad 4 3.3 ghz

4 gig of ram

ATI radeon HD 4870 gpu card

400 gig free hd out of 1.5 ter

Do I just need a better system? more memory perhaps?

No it's a game issue. Pretty sure everyone has it.

Yeah it is a game issue. Happens to me all the time. The cursor still functions, you just have to figure out where to click (usually the upper left portion of whatever icon you have, hourglass, crossed swords, etc.).

Yeah, Game issue. I have a pretty 'boss' level machine and it.. yeah. it does that too. Also, its not a HDD access issue either, at least I don't think it is.. I have an SSD drive.. which usually avoids those types of things.

So I just upgraded to LH and I get this problem every time.  What is the point to play the game when the most basic decision, which hero to recruit, can't be made because you can't read the screen to decide?  Extremely disappointing, I hope someone is trying to fix it.
