Is something being done about the "no text or black text on black background in file portals" problem?

 

This problem has been around for a long time and the only fix I see is to install version 2.10? I have already upgraded to version 2.11 and I still have this problem so I hope you can come up with something else this time.

It would be nice to see something done about the inability to position icons wherever we want as well.

This has turned out to be quite the place. I made this post above almost a month ago, no response what so ever from this very poor support staff.

Are you people ever going to do anything about the problems I see all over the place here. You seem to be  completely ignoring  them, just like you did my post. Fix the problems or get someone in charge here who can get it done. If you can't get the Folder Portals working then dump them and stop using them to sell the product and take peoples money.

It looked like a great product, until I actually installed it and tried to use it. You should be refunding peoples money unless you can improve your lousy support.

This may come as a shock, but Support does have other things to attend to besides you. (and it may help if you actually post IN a SUPPORT forum, duh!) Stardock makes a wide range of products, and they can only deal with so much at a time. Jeesh, dude, get a grip!

This is the Fences forum. It is full of support questions, but forgive me, perhaps you are blind. I posted this for help not comments from the peanut gallery.

 

I bought this program 6 months ago and it is still not working properly and nothing it seems, is being done about it. When support fails to address the questions asked by people who spent their money to buy the program, especially after such a long time, that is a sign of a very poor company.

If I don't see some kind of response about these problems  being attended to soon then I will be off to the review forum at the Warriorforum and Youtube where I will show people with video and images exactly what they will be getting if they make the mistake of buying this faulty program with it's very poor support. I make my living doing review sites and Youtube videos. Hopefully they will start working on a solution for these problems and make that unnecessary.

Six months and they won't even address the problem, that sucks.

Clearly Wizard1956 is a young bored teenager who likely does not even own the program but likes spouting off just to piss people off. Why don't you grow up Wizard1956, or try to act like a grown up anyway. I am an adult trying to get support for a program that I paid for, which is long overdue and is being ignored by the staff here.

Wizard1956 is a well respected, and very knowledgeable old fart here at WC and he told you the right thing to do. If you were here much, you'd know him/that.

Nothing is being ignored by the staff here. But you'd be better served asking nicely for help, and doing it in the correct way, using the correct venues.

 

 

A lot of us help when we can, even if we're not actual support members. It's the way things are done here. I'll almost assure you that Monday you'll see some kind of response from official support.

 

Why not just start fresh, do it right, and be courteous? We really are a great bunch here and can be real friends, given the chance.

I posted a link to the "support forum".  It is called that for a reason. Support does not have time to search all the different forums for those in need of support. Therefore the best, and quickest way to get Official support help is to

1. Email support.   support@stardock.com

I am neither bored nor a teenager.1956 is not a random number.I have been an ODNT subscriber since 2008 and use most  of what Star dock makes.So far,wrong two out of two guesses. The bulk of my time in these forums Is spent helping others.

I offered a valid means of assistance,namely posting in the correct forum and/or contacting the same people you are insulting.
