"disable multiple monitor mouse corner stickiness" <--whatsit do?

I regularly use multiple monitors, but I'm not sure whether I want to activate this option. Can someone explain to me what it does? Thanks.

By default Windows 8 will block switching between monitors when your mouse is in the very corner of the screens.  This annoys some people, so that option lets you disable it.

I don't have this option enabled, and yet my mouse can freely move from one monitor to the other - I don't want this, does anyone know how I can enable/keep this feature? Accidentally switching to my alternate monitor that I use for just playing video is annoying.

Thank you.

If the option is not set in Start8 then the OS default option is used.

The OS will only do this on a small area of the corners so I suspect you are moving over in a non corner area.

Ah, that must be it then. I thought it applied to all edges of the screen not just the corner. I have an ATI card and I can't find any option in the catalyst control center to alter this behaviour so the mouse doesn't freely move like that.. any ideas, anyone?

You might find some multiple monitor software like Ultramon or DisplayFusion offer that.
