Widgets

from WinCustomize Forums

I've been away from WinCustomize for along time, and I have missed a few things. I'm not a skinner but I do use the software to customize my computer. I'm running windows 7 and I've seen some beautiful widgets by adni18 that I would like to use. I thought it was object dock to use widgets but I'm seeing that its been discontinued. Can anyone tell me what I can use to use these beautiful widgets??

Widgets were a part of DesktopX which is also going the way of legacy...

Object Dock has not been discontinued.

DesktopX might be legacy now but you can still use the gadgets which are essentially the same as widgets but you don't need DesktopX to run them. With widgets you do. Gadgets are stand alone.

Thank you guys, It's a shame no more widgets as the ones that are here are so stunning to use. Especially for weather. Not too fond of the gadgets as no one make really beautiful ones like the skinners here on wincustomize.

There are plenty of gadgets here on WC that are made by the same authors TBoy34, and they are made by the same authors that made DesktopX Widgets and such. You might want to have a look.

Oh My Thank you very much, I really didn't realize. It's been a while for me using all of this stuff. I will definitely look.
