Charms Sidebar still appearing when "Disable alll Windows hot corners" feature is ticked

Driving me INSANE! [HELP]

I purchased your Start8 software yesterday after buying my new laptop and the Windows charms sidebar is driving me UP THE WALL. I have reverted it mostly back to Windows 7 now using Start8, however even with the "Disable all Windows hot corners" ticked it's still doing it and opens both sides.

Pretty much 80% of the time that I move the mouse left/right the annoying sidebars open up and it's driving me insane. I need a fix on this because I work online and this is actually now affecting our work as it's constantly showing up. Shame on Windows for forcing us users to use such a LQ garbage feature!

PLEASE HELP!

Please email support@stardock.com and reply back with your case ID.

Download and run the following utility: http://sd.stardock.com/SDSupportTool.exe

This is a tool that we use to gather relevant log files and basic information about your computer.

Once the utility finishes running, please send the .zip file it creates on the desktop.

What you're describing here is being caused by an annoying touchpad feature called "Edge Swipes" (not to be confused with "Hot Corners", which is an annoying built-in feature of Windows 8). It is enabled by default on most Windows 8 laptops that utilize a Synaptics touchpad.

Here's a link that will show you how to disable the Edge Swipes feature:

I'm pretty sure this will solve your problem.
