WindowBlinds 8.01 Beta Available

New beta release for WindowBlinds are available for registered users and Object Desktop customers from the store accounts page athttps://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products/ or via Stardock Central. 

WindowBlinds 8.01

  • Adds support for the Windows 8.1 Preview (including tweaks to the jump list painting) 
  • Fixed say the time titlebar
  • Fixed opera 15 black bit on opening
  • Fixed display fusion issue with blank taskbar
  • Fixed issue with not being able to move explorer windows on negative screen coordinate monitors on win 8
  • Fixed issue with some skins showing a small white bar under a transparent taskbar when maximized
  • Fixed no text on non perpixel skins
  • Fixed no text on MDI child windows
  • Fixed the reset button correctly show on UIS0 skins too on Win7 for titlebars
  • Tweak to start menu code for alterative start menus

Great update.

Waiting for SKS update as that is where I have my biggest problem. Specifically when using with PS.

Jim I just updated right over the other version and had no problems. Everything seems to be fine so far.

In former versions, you had to reinstall SKS 8 also or the link to open a skin in SKS from the WB config window didn't work. Guess they fixed that.

I keep getting this error in my Event Log...

The Desktop Window Manager has exited with code (0x40010004)

DisplayFusion multi-monitor taskbar clock not skinning properly and the system tray open/close icon is off-center on the second monitor.

Please download and run the following utility: http://sd.stardock.com/SDSupportTool.exe
This is a tool that we use to gather relevant log files and basic information about your computer. Once the utility finishes running, please send the .zip file it creates on the desktop to support@stardock.com

Also, please include a screenshot of the issues.
