Decor8 not working with Windows 8.1

and not after reinstalling Decor 8 again

from Stardock Forums

hi,

 

My Decor8 is not working in Windows 8.1. Mailed Stardock, but did not receive a reply.

 

But i guess here is as good as mailing.

 

So reinstalled Decor8 via new download, but no difference.

 

Hope to get a solution soon.

You need to download the beta update of Decor8.  That supports Windows 8.1

I looked for an email with this email but only found one from March about Start8.  Neither do I see a purchase by this email address.

Just installed Win 8.1 and Modermix still works, however i cannot get Background on the Start Menu to work.

 

 

 

Sure when going into PC-Settings I can see all the wallpapers pass by, but once on the Start Screen, image freezes……

 

 

 

I must be doing something wrong, do not know what.

Above all, the background one gets in the new Start Menu you get also in the APPS section. Nice bonus.

I think using windows 8.1 is not good idea, it still beta, right?

use windows 8 build 9200, its not problem for me :)

Seems I was wrong. For some reason it just took a while for the changes to show, which is kind of weird seeing as how other changes appear to be instantaneous.
