Some apps not getting skinned

Windows 8 Enterprise (9200.win8_gdr.130410-1505)
WindowBlinds 8.0 (017 - Windows 8 Edition) - 64 bit OS

I was having a problem with WB8 killing all my apps and forcing Windows to log off every time I applied or updated a blind. Support told me to run a batch file to purge WB8, then to reinstall.

After the reinstall, not all of my apps are getting skinned - some remain classic Windows 8. These include Firefox, MS Office, the WB8 control center, and several others.

The rest of the apps, including my taskbar and Start8, are skinning just fine. There are no glitches or partially-skinned apps or anything - everything functions fine, it's just an odd mix of skinned and not-skinned.

I have no exclusions set, and this problem is skin-independent.

It sounds like you are missing critical WB files. In particular the 32 bit files such as wblind.dll.

Just reinstall WB8 over the existing install, reboot and see if that helps, Neil is probably right.
