Do NOT link to C|Net's download.com for your users downloads

You are doing all of your current and future users a huge dis-service when you link to download.com to get your installers.  They bundle ALL of their downloads with crapware that NOBODY wants on their machines.  If you link to them then it looks like you are endorsing them.  There is another thread on these forums that discuss this same topic.

I think the last thing you want is someone installing Start8 and getting a bunch of crap and toolbars on their browsers.  They will say to everyone they know, "don't download Start8 it has crapware associated with it."  They are not going to know that the crap came from C|Net.
