Little question
Hello, little question about Sova's Heavy Fighters ability. What is the "physical damage output" improvement it gives to the fighters? Is it any different than increasing weapon damage by the same amounts?

Yeah, I think it just increases the weapon damage by 12%, 22%, 32%, 41%. Not totally sure though.
It is the same as the "Damage Output" buff on ships like the Eradica, it just only applies to physical weapons like missiles, autocannons, railguns etc. Since both TEC fighters and Bombers use physical weapons yes it is a simple damage boost.
Oh, great thank you! So it is actually a huge improvement for the tacticals... it makes the TEC fighters and bombers being the best in the game I think.
Again, thanks for the replies.
Yes, but keep in mind it only affects the strikecraft on the Sova.
As far as if you should get this ability, its either average or slightly above average for a passive. Far better than incendiary shells but not game changing like disruptive strikes. If you plan to seriously exploit an embargo rush you'll probably want this as your second ability to ensure you have the antimatter to keep embargo up. On the inverse side of the spectrum if you don't plan on using embargo at all then also get this as the only other Sova ability that influences combat. For most general purpose Sova use though I wouldn't recommend getting this ability, Embargo and Missile Turrets are far more useful.
Yes, it is not a game changing ability indeed, however, I noticed increased efficacy of the strike craft in combat when one or two Sovas are present with those abilities. It can give a slight advantage in sieges and a greater one in small engagements. Still, as you said, not game changing.
