[1.2 BUG] Outpost destroyed during dying animation.

Beat a group of ogres during tactical combat. When zooming back out to the strategic view, the dying animation of one of the units took out my outpost that was 2 square away from the square the ogre's army had started on. First time I have seen this in any iteration of the game, beta or not going back to E:WoM

I cant imagine how an animation would take out an outpost.  The 2 systems aren't linked.  Maybe the outpost got taken out by another unit that moved into the FoW before you saw it?

I'd have thought that if it hadn't all occurred during my turn. Even got the pop up message. I was able to rush a pioneer and rebuild on same turn so didn't lose any of my resources, and there eWaswas nothing there to fight when rebuilding the outpost. Weird!

I saw it again this weekend in 1.2.  For me it's only happened when auto-resolving a battle.  It wasn't clear to me from the OP if auto-resolve was used or not.

That is exactly what happened! Except I didn't auto-resolve as it was a pretty close match.
