Window Blinds 8 Screwed the Pooch!

I purchased WB8 last night and installed it.  It did something to my computer that completely locked up startup of my computer, a Dell Inspiron using Windows 8!  It froze upon apply skin and then I could not get past the lock screen to even REMOVE it!  Had to restore my system from a few weeks before, so I lost a bunch of programs I had installed successfully prior to installing WB8.  I am now reluctant to attempt reinstalling the program.  I also have Fences 2, Object Dock Plus, Start8, and Modern Mix, Deskscapes 8, Decor8, and Cursor FX Plus. All these work fine, that is, until the pesky WB8 problem.  Has anyone else experienced this?  Is mine a unique situation?  Do I da  re try to reinstall Window Blinds 8?x_x

DawnD13 ...possibly not 'unique' but certainly uncommon - sounds like a borked download/install.

Please open a ticket with support@stardock.com .... and in the interim don't install anything else in case you potentially have a repeat of the error.

I'll link your thread to the guys at Support as well, so keep an eye here for responses too....;)

As JAFO said, please create a case so we can see what is what.

Please download and run the following utility: http://sd.stardock.com/SDSupportTool.exe

This is a tool that we use to gather relevant log files and basic information about your computer. Once the utility finishes running, please send the .zip file it creates on the desktop.
