Explorer window Black/artifacts Win8 Pro 64bit

Bought windowsblinds when I saw version 8 came out, on most skins I get a black background on explorer windows with screen artifacts and distortion when resizing. Adding explorer.exe to exclusion list fixes this but resizes the explorer window in a way where I can't access the menu/ribbon. Posting this to see if anyone is experiencing the same issue and if there are any known fixes. 

 

Here's relevant system information:

windows 8 pro x64, i7 2700k, 16gb ram, nvidia gtx 680 (latest drivers as of today 320.49), 512gb ssd, 500gb hdd

dual monitor (47" hdtv on top and 23" ips monitor on bottom) running displayfusion to manage, antivirus is avast premier

 

Tried disabling displayfusion but haven't tried disabling antivirus yet. Everything else seems to skin perfectly. Will post screenshots and additional information if needed.

Thank you, DouglasLenos's suggestion fixed my problem.

 

Background... Explorer Background... move Active Window Opacity slider to far right...
