It is possible to play LH offline?

My internet connection will be down for 5-6 days, and i will have plenty of time to play LH. It is possible to play it without internet connection?

switch steam to offline mode then you can play lh , BUT steam seems to want to go online perodically even when set to offline.

Yes.

 

As said above, after running it once online, you can play Steam Games offline, unless they obviously need the net (like MMOs). I played LH during my vacation on my laptop, away from the net.
