[BUG] Windows 8.1 Issue

MMx locking functionality out when swapping Active Windows away from MMx

Having a strange issue since updating to Windows 8.1 (x64) and ModerMix 1.05.  When I run any app and move to a non-metro app, like say Chrome or a game..ect the metro app that's running within ModernMix bugs out and looks as if it's opened twice and locks Explorer (Windows) up.  I'll have to open task manager (Ctrl+Shift+Esc) and force close the metro app that's opened with MMx.   When it happens, the MMx app still continues as if nothing is wrong, if I have MetroRadio playing or Netflix going, they'll continue to produce sound but no visuals.  But I'm unable to click the start button or interact with any thing on the desktop (right click, double click icons... ect).

I've reinstalled MMx 1.05 twice and numerous restarts.  No change.  Let me know if you need anymore info.

Here's a screenshot of the issue

Same here, Stardock got spanked with this one. my Avast was uninstalled, graphics was so bad in all blizzard games unplayable, web pages not displayed correctly, and siverlight of all things was not compatible with new browser yet LOL ( really not funny ). How much them dorks get paid to release this crap? No way to uninstall or roll-back either. so here I am reloaded tnx MS.

The Windows 8.1 beta does seem unusually incompatible with things.

Fences which worked without modification over every OS (bar the auto start feature that got broken in Win8) no longer allows drag & drop, but this worked fine on XP, Vista, 7 and 8.

Regarding the other SD apps, we have been slowly going through them and updating them.  Start8 1.17 beta is out, WindowFX 5.11 beta is out and Decor8 1.05 beta is out.  They all support Windows 8.1 beta.

Next week has a US holiday, so depending on how long the ModernMix tweaks take there may be a beta update early next week, or it will have to be the following week.

I think the lesson here is never install a Microsoft beta update the instant it comes out.  Wait a week or two for the rest of the software world to catch up.

the lesson is for MicroDork to learn not to put a patch out that is total JUNK. Hope They learn it, I love working with buggy beta's but I think this one was not even a draft of a Alpha.
