8.0 and Explorer window
I'm using Win 8. After trying several skins and changing all system colors that are white, the explorer window with computer stays white. Any suggestions on how to change the color?

Jim, don't think that is what he is talking about. sorry I have to go out now and no time for a screenshot. Will explain best I can. Windows8 using start 8, Wb and the rest.
Go to the start menu and click on Control Panel, explorer window will open and all is well and skinned. Start panel again and open computer window. On top where it say File, Computer, View. The whole part across where these are listed is White and the file etc graphics are regular windows Blue graphics. Same happens when I open a personal explorer folder such as one that is in my name Dave.
Are you meaning the ribbon?
Dave is talking about the top of the ribbon (menu bar), shows even when ribbon is collapsed.

Yes Jim. However it's fine on win7. By that I mean it's skinned like everything else.
The Win8 ribbon and the Win7 menu/toolbar are two completely different things Dave. The ribbon just cannot be skinned yet in Win8 and will remain white until it is.
Thanks Tom. I didn't know that till you just told me. May have been mentioned before and I missed it. Guess what got me is that it's skinned if you open the control panel but not if you open computer or personal explorer windows.
The ribbon on my system is light gray. It's all ways been gray
Is it possibly your monitor settings? Everywhere I have seen the color is white.
