Can anyone suggest a good custom faction to create. I'm not talking about modding the game. I'm talking about creating a new faction within it. I am currently playing on Expert difficulty.
I had fun with a Kingdom Wraith Defensive/Lucky/Tough faction. Very hard to kill, thanks to high hit points and ridiculous dodge.
I like Altar blood, Master Scouts, Decalon, no Armor
You get Rush and Henchmen

Okay, I'm confused here. I started a game and chose create a character. However, I don't see where you can choose things like Master Scouts and Decalon. You can choose Air, Water, etc. You can choose to be a General or something like that, etc., but I don't see where you choose the other stuff.
In the Sovereign design screen, next to where you select your faction, there should be a button which reads 'New'. Click that, and it will take you to the faction design screen, where you can select faction traits, colors, and heraldry.
Faction (Vestalla): Mancers, Lucky, Quick, Master Scouts.
Leader (Joanwallis): General, Life Disciple, Air Apprentice, Cautious
Result: FAST Armies tearing across the map. Joanwallis' Armies can out maneuver most armies. Haste to boost ever further. Heal keeps armies in fight, Also can break off if things go bad. Ideal for hit and run tactics.
Okay, once you've made a custom faction, what if you decide you don't really want it? How do you delete it? That doesn't appear to be obvious?
there is no ingame option, you have to delete the file in the folder: /user/username/my documents/my games/LegendaryHeroes/Race
Even though you can delete a custom sovereign ingame with a right-click and you can retire unit designs, it's the same thing if you decide to completely erase them, they are in the /units folder.
