2.01 sorts horizontally, not vertically

Is there no way to treat a fence as 3 or 4 VERTICAL columns of icons (as windows does by default)? There's too much empty space because Fences is sorting them by date (as I want) but it's a horizontal rule, not a vertical? Also, "exlude this icon when hiding" is not available, it's simply not there, although icons I excluded using fences 1.01 DO stay visible when hide desktop icons is used?

There is no way tpo sort as you desire at the moment.  I will alert the developers of your request for future evaluation.

Are you trying to exclude icons in or out of a fence?

Hmmm, I won't be buying 2.01 until it behaves like Windows (i.e. column-sorting, not rows) I'm afraid :( I often exclude icons both inside & outside a fence with 1.01, but there simply IS no context-menu item to do the same in the 2.01 eval version, even though the documentation says there is.
