litte feedback

about turns and stuff :)

Hi,

 I complicated what I was trygint to say so it is simple short version first first.

- Autoturn need some polishing . Slow down enemy movement .. or give me option to do it.

- Manual turns need some simple icon showing wich unit have movment on it and wich one dont .. simple green dot for ( still have movment points ) and red dot for ( dont have any more movement on it )  would be awesome . Fix take me to unit that didnt move option becosue it dont work without autoturn . Add exection order button so I wouldnt have to show some distant location 14 turns to my army :)

 

I am kinda new to turn based games . Before this game I was plaiyng other turn based that were simplified and anoyng. This game have awesome concepts and I discover it still even after few hours playing wich is awesome becoue more option the better :) I love lots of things about it and you lost me on just few so i will start with those few. For new player I am bit lost when it comes to turns, to wich unit moves where and when and whats up after selecting city and palcing one building it takes me to some quest complete window or when I move my unit on battle ageinst some dudes it first show me somethign else then goes to battle or after quest complete it shows me first reasearch complete window argh !!  I write it like that on purpose to give you feeling  I got sometimes when I play. :)

  I blame autoturn for it but when i turn it off it dont take me to unit or city that is idle and still have action points on itself wich is even more anoying becouse without anythign that would show me wich unit moved already and wich didnt I have to check them all .

Another problem without autoturn on is that unit dont execute their orders . It could have some sort of execute oreder button . For example. I train few guys in city on one side of map and want to send it as back up to my armies on other side of map. It is long road .. around 14 turns. Without this automatic movment or execute oreder. I have to each turn show this unit where I want it to go.

Anyway, even with this things I got lots of fun from it . I could have more with some hot seat game mod but maybe that will come later :)

I also wish to see some other units then humans .. I mean I alwways had thing for stuff like orcs , wizards with some cool creatures army .. I am not sure Maybe there is some faction like that.

Anyway for one faction of humans I must say It saddens me to see that all or majority of untis are .. humans with upgreads. Agein maybe I need to discover something else but some magical units .. let say for human knights faction .. something like Griffin or maybe even Griffin riders would be awesome. Do you know what I mean ? some more diversity in unit types for use + upgreads and it is perfect game . Right now I see it is mostly based on just another stronger units.. but Maybe 10 h wasnt enoguht for me to discover those magical cool things :)

btw. faction with warewolfs ,warelions, warebears .. hmm you know transmutation based army would be awesome to see in game :)

On the strategic map, units which have available movement points have a green border around them, while units which have used all of their moves do not have this green border.

 

As for non-human units:

Quendar (the race for the Magnar default faction) are some kind of lizardmen with horns on their heads. Trogs (race for the Yithril default faction) can train a troll or great orc style unit (juggernaut). Ironeers (race for the Gilden default faction) can build iron golems. Other than that, I agree that a little more visual variety among the playable races would have been nice.

o .. Thanks man  it is good to know .. still there is no execute oreder button . or Is it ?

I think it might be little buggy game and it will be just become better.. I hope it will. Becosue it is really great and bring new level to turn based games :)

Maybe have a look at the available/upcoming mods? Heavenfall's "Children of Storm" mod includes new factions such as angels, centaurs and frost giants.  :D I think it's currently being ported to Legendary Heroes. (It was made for the original version of Fallen Enchantress as "Stormworld".)
