[1.0] Starting points too close together

I enjoy playing huge maps with 5-6 players. The problem is that in every game that I have played, all of the factions start in one corner, leaving 3/4 of the map open space.

Is there an easy way to fix this?

Wow, I've been playing on huge maps almost throughout the beta, and have never seen that. Can you post a link to a saved game so the developers can take a look at it?
