Can't move shortcuts of folders
Hi,
Just upgraded to V1.16. Cannot move files of folders. When I try, a message says things like "+ Move **** to xxxx" but it never happens.
Any ideas? Thanks
Chuck

Could you give a little more detail on which folders are you moving from and to please.
Sorry. I had been reading about problems in earlier versions and . . .
FWIW, Using Windows 8 Pro and an Intel Core 7.
In past versions, I was able to move folders and files at will in the menu. For example, to simplify my Start Menu, I go to User/AppData/Roaming/Microsoft/Windows/Start Menu/Programs and create a folder called "Misc Programs". I then used to be able to move various Program Folders into the Misc. Programs folder, so I could "clean-up" the menu area. I can no longer do that.
I can individually go into a Program folder and delete individual shortcuts, but I cannot move the shortcut from one folder to another.
As I said, when I try to move a folder into another folder, I seem to get the dialog; e.g., the "+ Mozbackup to Misc Programs" dialog. It's just that nothing happens after that, when I click.
I know, clear as mud, huh? I do hope that I explained myself better. I was sort of casting out a net to see if there was a common problem occurring, as in a past version.
Thanks
Chuck
Hi there
I've just purchased an installed Start 8 and have exactly the same problem too. I have created a folder called 'Games' in my start menu but I can't drag any of my game folders into it. When I click and drag a folder into my newly created 'Games' folder, I get a message that says '+ Move to Games' but after letting go, the folder never actually moves.
Does anyone know how to move these folders into the folder I created?
Many thanks
Michael.
I too have the exact same problem as described above, despite having the latest 1.30 version of Star8 installed. Please, dont just ignore this problem. Make an effort to fix it instead.
