I designed this custom faction in .80, then after .87 was released I deleted the associated Sovereign and remade the faction. The second time around I changed some of the selections, including changing the race from Tarth to Wraith, but I gave it the exact same name. Lo and behold, the custom units I designed in previous games are still present complete with old Blood bonuses.

Is this possibly a side effect of the Steam cloud sync overwriting your new units?  I've disabled the cloud sync so that I could delete old sovereigns and units, but I don't really trust it.

This is an issue I hope the developers are looking at. I've also had to turn off cloud syncing to delete custom factions, sovs and unts, and even then, having to sort through files to accomplish this is quite a hassle. I very much like the idea of customisation, it's one of my favorite elements of the game, but the feature can't be WAD, and if it is, the design seems faulty.

Stardock, we need an effective, simple interface to delete any and all custom creations, without having to tinker with the files themselves. As this is an advertised feature of the game, this should be fixed before release.

This is an old problem that I think has been in long before LH or cloud saving.
