Desktop forgets Auto Arrange

Running Start8 v1.12. I right-click on the desktop and pick View. Auto Arrange is un-checked. I click on it and my icons arrange automatically... until I reboot. Then Auto Arrange is off. What's need to make this setting sticky?

Start8 would have nothing to do with your icon arrangement on your desktop.
