Version number in start8.exe

I noticed the Windows Explorer shows different version numbers for start8.exe and other relevant files.
Wouldn't it make more sense if these would state the proper version number i.e. 1.16, thus avoiding confusion to simple mortals like us, as well as software update monitoring tools like SuMo?
Maybe something worth looking into for the next update?

File versions are accurate as they are updated at different times for different reasons.
