I was just wondering.... can you folks open any of these links? No problem if you can't, just something I made once. You might have to be a member of a community to see it though.

Really? Wow, I didn't think anyone would ever see them. They are kind of big files... if one doesn't show you have to refresh. Thanks for letting me know.

Motion did you finish up the bathroom

Thanks, elvee.... It is only an html file, with some scripting and saved in mht format. If you want, you can alternate click on them, save target as, then type .eml after the file name. Then change the file type to *all files*. When it saves, it will look like a little envelope, just click on that and it will open like you are going to write an e-mail. If you want to save it as a web-page, then just click on file, and type .mht after the file name. I got all the stuff from free sites, I would rather track down the music and photographers if I were going to do anythiong with them... I was just trying to learn.

Yeah Wise, the bathroom is done. Just have to wipe the tiles over with clean water a few more times until all the white film is gone. The hard part is done.

Every muscle and bone in my body aches today. I always go at these things full steam, and then pay for it later.

None of the links work for me. I just get a window encouraging me to get a .net passport account. No thanks.

Wish I could see what everyone else sees though.

motion-I'am glad the hard part is over. I know what you mean. When I start something I want to finish no mater what. Gm I also got the .net passport. Motion do you buy and fix, then resell or Hire yourself for remodeling work?

Buy, live in for awhile while I fix, then sell.
(I believe in the 1980's this was known as 'flipping'). I learned this from my oldest sister. At 49 she is already in a semi-retirement, mostly because of all the houses she 'flipped' during the 1980's)

P.S.

I don't hire myself out, but I do help out friends and family quite often when they do their own remodeling.

My dad and brother were carpenters plus. I tried it for a while but I hated roofs.

Oh yeah! I suck at roofs too. Can't get any higher than the 5th rung of a ladder. I suffer from terrible vertigo. I go totally stiff, get queezy, light headed. And yet, at the same time I have an uncontrollable desire to jump.

I'll do any remodeling that can be done without climbing to unprotected heights.

Damm motion. I will climb but I'am very nervous when it comes time to go down. Ars you going to take interstate 94 on your trip?

Haven't really looked over the itineray closely yet Wise.

The only thing I know for sure is that my wife is insisting that we drive along something called "The 101" Is that a highway?

Oops, it's getting late for old guys like myself who have to work in the morning. I'm gonna have to get back to you all tomorrow.

Bye for now.

101 is a calif. state hwy. Goes along the coast. An old 2-4 lane road. It's probably fixed up by now but it's still probably 2-4 lanes. It's beautiful.

Ah, I figured there would be some troubles. I can zip them up and send them to you if you want. I have them stored on a MSN site. It is a MSN thing.... I am glad you folks like them.

101 is beautiful. It goes through the Big Sur, doesn't it? I think it goes all the way up to the Canadian border.
The 101 sounds great. I guess I'll take a drive along it once we are there.

Wise, I looked over the CAA advised route. Looks like we will be on the I-94 for quite a while. Then the I-80 for even longer.

Of course, that is just the advised route. If we were going straight there this route would be great, but like I mentioned earlier, we will be stopping in Pontiac Michigan to visit my relatives and then we will be making a huge detour and going to Spokane WA, where my wife's relative are. From Spokane, we will then make our way down to CA. I haven't really looked over the maps closely enough to figure out the best way to do all of this yet.

That's part of the fun of a trip for my me and my wife. We actually like getting lost and trying to figure our way out.
