End of FractalFragger's quote

It also converts many people to purchase the newer, better version and provides them with support.

More so, it allows Stardock to invest the profit in development and support.

What security flaws?

If you were happy with v1 then stick with version 1.  If you want what is offered in v2 then you will have to pay for it.

We take a very dim view of piracy around here.  Stardock develop applications to pay the people who work on them.  Giving it away for free does not achieve this and so the software would simply not be developed in the first place.
