Decor8 lock screen now broken - Windows Update?

Decor8 stopped being able to change the lock screen for me this week - I wonder if the latest Windows Update changed something?  Is it still working for everyone else? (Reinstalling did not fix the problem).  Decor8 has worked fine for me since I bought it, and it is still changing Modern Start Menu background and colours just fine.

Are you able to change the lock screen from the UI Microsoft provides?  Decor8 uses the standard api Microsoft provides for this purpose.

Windows 8 is somewhat fragile and we have seen instances where it corrupts a user profile and is unable to change lock screen.  This can happen with or without Decor8.

Yes, Windows 8 settings are working fine, regards the Lock Screen.

Playing around, I found the bug (be it Windows 8 API or Decor8) - Decor8 cannot change the Lock Screen if the C:\Users\Username\Documents\Stardock folder has the hidden attribute (the contents are not hidden files and folders, only the top folder).

It would be good to fix this, if possible, because this is not a user document folder, but an application data folder that belongs in %APPDATA%, and so, like other numerous folders that clutter up the Documents folder, it is natural to want it hidden to preserve the usability of the Documents folder.  Presuming it is not the Windows API that is doing this.

Thank you so much for sharing this information. I have changed the User\Documents\Stardock folder from "hidden" to visible and now changing the Lock On Screen Background Image in Decor8 works, indeed. :)
