I just uploaded WinStlyes 1.3 and when I go to save a .xptheme file (to save my current desktop), it gives me an error saying "An error occurred while Windows was working withthe Control Panel file C:|WINNT|System32\desk.cpl"

I know that file is a dll file and I went to the file itself and it said that it was both a dll and a cpl owned by Microsoft.

Is there an update from Microsoft I am missing or something missing from WinStyles?

Help I have problem to. Before I uploaded 1.3 when clicking save as I would get the error "winstyles caused an invalid page fault in kernel32.dll."
Could not find a solution for this. Have then uploaded 1.3 and know when I click save as nothing happens at all.

Have been to forums, it seems other people are having problems also....????

I don't have that kind of problem with 1.3, but i do have a problem downloading Suite files with 1.3. I get about half of the components download then WinStyles will quit and try to apply the theme unfinished.

Maybe you guys should try downloading it (instead of uploading)....

sorry, couldn't resist......joe should know better, since he's studing to be an IT professional.

Hope you get it all worked out, I know nothing about winstyles other than I don't care for it.

all that IT stuff is helping, but not for WinStlyes!!! I think it is a problem that I am missing software on my computer as oppossed to something being wrong with WinStyles.

I liked it so much!!! And DX stopped working too. I loved DX!! I am working on so many lovely themes!!!

Well, my WinStyles feel a bit flakey. It crashes when applying a skin with links in it.

Guess it will be fixed in the future, somehow...
