Hero Reward BUG

Found another bug.

I was awarded a hero and had a full party. My character army was surrounded by enemies and the hero i chose does not appear on the map. I can see the hero unit to the left of the screen but can not select the unit nor does it appear on the map. Reloading the game does not fix the problem.

I never understood why hero spawn near the leader party instead of the capital. I just cant figure why they chose to do it this way.

I think (I could be wrong) but I THINK I remember reading that this is going to be addressed in the .52 bug fix that should be going in very soon.

Im certain that the hero must be in a hill or  mountain. I was in the Lombard desert and defeated the boss there. The lumbard desert is where that library is located it looks like an 8 (its a cavern like desert).

i had that bug, too. my sov was in a wildland (scrapyard) when i crossed 400 fame; the new hero i picked never spawned, but was visible in the list on the left side. later in the game, i used the "call of the titans" spell to assemble my roaming champion stacks and the missing hero was also teleported to the target tile of the spell.

yea, that's a bug is fixed internally... it was actually causing the unit to spawn at 0,0 on the map so there is no way to find them without cheats on :(
