Trinity

I have the original Sins, but I unintalled it and installed the Trinity set. I am finding that I can either play Entrenchment or Diplomacy, it's not an all-in-one game expansion set. It is an either or expansion choice.  Am I missing something or doing something incorrect? I was hoping that having the Trinity version of the game meant being able to play Sins with both expansions as an "all-in-one" package, not have to choose which expansion to play at any given time.

I really like the original game. I bought it twice so my son and I can play against each other, and thusly bought the Trinity version twice for the same reason.

Does anyone understand what I am wondering?
