I'm Taking A Break From Skinning

Ladies and Gentleman, I just wanted to announce that I will be taking a break from the skinning community for a while. I just want to thank those thousands that downloaded my DX themes. I'm 20 years old and actually have run myself into a gutter I cannot crawl out of. Im the past 5 years I have skinned where I was featured in a Japanese Magazine, Written and published a book 'Emotions Through Time' and have taken quite a few photographs which some have won awards. All great accomplishments I am proud of, I will miss this all.

Many of you don't know what's going on. In the past year I have been placed on doctor observation and 7 medications. I have been through a CT Scan, MRI and Muscle Biopsy. Though we are still unclear as to what the whole problem is. I am on a heart monitor most of the day and my strength is slowly sinking. Due to this, I am not able to keep going on, doing these things for now. Until I can get back, I need to slow down a bit. My mind is shooting faster than my body and it's exhausting. I wish you all luck in all you do.

I love you all and just want you to know, I will be around. Just maybe not as much as usual.

I understand completely. I have had a chronic illness myself for about 10 years now, and when it comes out of remission there is no way to work. I normally find myself playing a lot of video games, watching long anime series, etc, for a year or so at a time. Find something relaxing to occupy your mind, I know that if I don't do *something* my mind continues to run on and on and whittles away at me.

I think with the impressive list of things you have done recently, there is no reason at all to worry about taking time off. Even a person in good health would deserve a break after all that . If you need anything at all feel free to contact me.

Get well soon, you will be in our thoughts.

We will keep a nice warm spot ready for you. And one in our hearts, too! I hope things work well for you. Now is the time not to have worry or regrets... eat that good food with no worry, watch the movies when you can without regret, enjoy tons of downloads .... all this is good for your spirit. Only good things have a place in your life, now. They have the power to heal a little. Laugh daily! Love a lot.

Not a nice position to be in.
Sounds rather like CFS?
Hope you get on top of it whatever the outcome.

Thank you all for your support and encouraging words. I would just like to clear a few things up. I am in no way dissapearing from the scene, I will still be here. Accepting new responsibilities at work (Supervisor on Duty)for a major health insurance company also takes away from my time. While my disability is limited, I am still working. My current health status only limits my ability to work on new projects and be active on WinCustomize.

I want to take the time to thank WinCustomize for being here and thank you all for the kind words. Please remember, I love you all. Please don't be a stranger, you are always welcome to email me or catch me on aim at 'KarlSATX'. Thanks Again To You All!

Will is a strong human character. With all of your great accomplishments, I know you have a strong will and good character. With these in hand, you will be able to overcome anything. I will keep you in my prayers. I'm glad you will still be a part of the community. It's like losing a member of the family when someone leaves.
