Still..no hard copy purchasing of this game..?

Not even an Ultimate Edition Hard Copy to be sold down the path? No plans there..?

If I have to mess around with steam or any form of online-to-play DRM I won't bother getting this game ever. I would assume Fallen Enchantress to already be cracked and downloadable anyway, rendering any form of online DRM requirements to be a pointless irritating killjoy.

You can't own code without a switch on every Server in the world anyway.

They have announced no plans. Not even an Ultimate Edition Hard Copy.

Neither FE nor FE:LH has any always-online requirement. They have a one-time registration. For FE:LH you need Steam, from which you can run that game offline after having registered the key.

For the FE:LH beta which is currently running, you may need to download game data when starting the game. If that is the case, that will be removed once the game is released.

The latest pirated patch of FE was 1.12, which is approximately four months old. The latest patch for FE was 1.32, and they are working on 1.4.

I heard Kalypso Media is publishing Stardock hardcopies over seas for hard copies but in NA I don't know. I'm sure elemental doesnt have any hardcopies yet as HF just stated. Brad did make a post about killing retailing plans since its too expensive. You know you can play offline mod with steam right?

Heavenfall, I'll seriously consider buying these new fantasy strategies digitally if I don't have to splurge on maintaining a decent internet connection...I know stardock isn't dumb when it comes to DRM as my experience with GalCiv and Sins has shown me. 

My desktop comp doesn't have a modem, so if I do decide to go digital I need to transfer the game files from a laptop and still be able to play the game after activation and file transfer to my desktop. I appreciate the info, thank you.

With FE and LH, unless you are prepared to download updates you're missing out anyways... because Stardock constantly release patches to improve the game.
