i created the collar that will bind any twisted creature to you.  now, the main idea is to find the cat Ascian (sp?) and bind him/her/it.  However, i've been all over my large map and haven't seen hide nor hair of the cat.  Is the cat found in a notable location or something or will it be wandering around on the map and i missed it cause the AI killed it in a fight? 

 

Really just curious about this new hero.

I didn't bother and used it on a Bone Ogre.  Very tough.  I couldn't find the cat either.

The cat was wandering around just outside one of my cities zone of control for me, not to far from where the quest objectives were for the other steps. Very very cool champion once I brought it over to my side.

This guy has maul...not THAT is overpowered with swarm tactic.  I just steamrolled fools after I got him.

Agreed, maul saved my tail in more than one fight. Start off with 100 hp and maul and if you can tag him early in the game you'll walk the board. Big purple cat when you see him.

Yeah, the Tiger is awesome. And a nice quest that didn't had you bashing people on the head. a Nice change of pace.

hmmmm.  he definately wasn't right by me and I haven't found him yet.  I've seen 97% of the map so, maybe something killed him off.

My complaint is his movement speed. All 4 legged animals so far have had 3/4 movement, his 2 makes him a very slow member of the pack.

I second the complaint about his slow movement.  He should be 4.  Stalkers/skaths are 5, aren't they?  He's useless in a horseback party.  Also, his attack was 26 when I fought him, but 17 when he joined me.

 

New question, has anyone used his lightning run ability?  I couldn't make it work.  I had him lined up along a line of three units, and it told me it had to be cast on an empty tile, but when I did that it said 'spell must target an enemy'.  Grrr.
