That was my reaction: Holy-moly, this is exactly what I needed in order to want to use any of those desktop-hogging metro apps. And I concur with your statement there, that given practically everything useful launches on the desktop anyway, it should be capable of being 'in charge'. Stardock's Start8 button went a long way to helping this -- and I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of WindowBlinds 8 -- but ModernMix fixes a problem I never thought would be addressed.
Well done, Stardock!
BTW, since I know you folks prefer to get some technical feedback: One thing I noticed is that the automatic registration through my Stardock login doesn't seem to want to take. I had to enter the serial number via my ObjectDesktop subscription page, then it reported the application as registered properly. Don't know if this is intended behavior or not, but I've encountered this issue with some other Stardock apps associated with my account as well. Wish I could say exactly which ones, but I just recently had to rebuild my OS from scratch due to a bad crash & burn, and there were several as I recall. Could it be due to timeouts on your side? Dunno.
