weird registration

from Stardock Forums

when i installed it, i put my email and pass. then it says "incorrect email or password".

i reentered again and it says "Registrations Complete".

Then i clicked "ok". and it asking me again to activate it. i can't activate it. i login on my account on browser and my email and pass is correct and i can see "my downloads" listed correct. pls help SD!

edit: what now SD!?! you have to fix it! I bought your product that doesn't work now!

The same is happening to me. I bought FENCES and I cant activate it, is so frustrating paying for software that you cant use.

Registrations and download links can be accessed by logging in with a Stardock account at https://store.stardock.com/myaccount/products or installing through Stardock Central (currently in beta but available at https://www.stardock.com/products/stardockcentral/ ).

I show no registration attempts for you.  

 

If you have not installed, do so.

Then follow the followign steps:

 

Right-click on the desktop and select "Configure Fences".
Select the "Unlock" button it and follow the steps to unlock it, typically email and password are all you need.
Otherwise, select the "I have serial" button

If you are prompted for the off-line activation follow the steps illustrated below:

Then select http://sd.stardock.com/zubaz/images/2013-01-29_1219_001.png

Fill out the form at http://sd.stardock.com/zubaz/images/2013-01-29_1221.png

Select Register

Select OK: http://sd.stardock.com/zubaz/images/2013-01-29_1222.png

Select OK again: http://sd.stardock.com/zubaz/images/2013-01-29_1222_001.png

Fill out the form and select Activate: http://sd.stardock.com/zubaz/images/2013-01-29_1222_002.png

A message will open with instructions: http://sd.stardock.com/zubaz/images/2013-01-29_1225.png along with a window displaying the file to upload to http://activate.stardock.com/ : http://sd.stardock.com/zubaz/images/2013-01-29_1226.png

I can't install the free WindowFX on Windows 8 Pro. :(

Any suggestions ?

Unless you're referring to the trial, there's no free version of WindowFX.  If it's an old version, then it's not supported on Windows 8.
