Am born and raised in LA and there is no way I would ever believe they got to 120 mph on those interstates.  Damn, I used to eat my lunch when I was bobtailing there in the 60's.  We didn't move but a few feet a minute. :O

Watching things race [as I do] I'd say it's a fair bet he was doing double the 'normal' road speed....100 to 110.

It's a commonly-used phrase when talking to bike racers....heard it again several times at the Superbikes.... "Ride it like you stole it".

And they did...broke a few lap records along the way...and hit 320kph .... not bad for what is 'almost' a road bike...;)
