New Clock option

Hello,

The new add clock option is showing a 24 hour format. Does it not allow a 12 hour format to match the computer's clock?

I love the addition of the clock to the Start screen but don't like the 24-hour format as elsewhere the time is displayed in 12-hour clock format. Would be nice if Decor8 could display the Start screen clock in the format set in Windows.

Also, if you're displaying a clock then why not the date as well (as shown on the Lock screen etc)?

For me the clock isn't displayed at all. :(

The clock is very ugly. And only 24hr mode? What's with that??
End of drdiehl's quote

Could you suggest how you would like to see it changed to make it look less ugly?

Regarding the 24 hour mode, we have made an update internally which detects the OS setting.  I hope this will be able to go out at somepoint soon.

A shadow around the numerals so they show up on a light wallpaper would be nice.

Top center.

What color wallpaper are you using?  The clock is white.

I would like to see the clock font size larger and the full date spelled out like on the windows log on screen has. And fix the 24 hour format to 12 hour.

The clock was changed to match the OS clock preference (I.e. whats used on the taskbar) in a later build.  If you have purchased Decor8 you should uninstall the version you have and download and install the latest from MyDownloads on the Stardock store.

I didn't realise that there was a clock option, until I saw this post. I've just ticked it, but I see no clock on the start screen. My background is blue, & the word Start is white (along with my name), so if the clock is white I should see it, but I don't. This is Decor8 v1.01

Uninstalled and reinstalled version 1.01 and I am still showing a 24 hour clock, any suggestions?
