Any hints on upcoming expansion?

Any hints on upcoming expansion?  More creatures, options, ships, flying creatures, events, etc.   I am liking this game.  I'd love to see grand event strike that require all factions to fight off or something close to.  Some thing like ancient dark lord arrives to conquer all, or some titanic beast destroying all in it's path or maybe even a split in your empire that causes a civil war.

What has been confirmed is that it will better integrate the RPG and TBS elements of the game. Also some small pics shown by frogboy show slightly different graphics. Other then that nothing.
