right-click doesn't activate context menu

using version 1.11 Beta

In Win7-style menu, items in the right-hand column configured for "appear as link" cannot trigger the context menu with right-click.

However, if the keyboard is used to focus one of these items, the context-menu button (Win-menu key on keyboard) does invoke the context menu.  What's more, AFTER using the Win-menu key, right-clicking with the mouse also starts to bring up context menus correctly, but only until the Start menu is dismissed.

This is very annoying, because I use Start -> (right-click) Computer -> Manage fairly frequently.

I'm happy to record additional information, for example capture OutputDebugString (don't know if Start8 uses it).  Just let me know what's needed to squash this bug.
