Installed today, but am lost....

Can't get it to work

I got an email today making me aware of this product so I downloaded the free version and installed it on 2 of my systems today.  One is flagged as the primary and runs Windows 7 Pro 64 and the other is a laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium 64.  They can see one another on my network and I can move data and files back and forth between them. Multiplicity on the primary sees the secondary as it is listed on the primary's setup screen as one selection.  However, when I click on the gear icon next to the save box on the configure box on the primary, I get a message about checking the firewall settings on the secondary.  I am using the standard Windows firewalls and even tried turning it off, but they act like they don't see one another at all.  I tried uninstalling and re-installing, but nothing helps. I am about to just give up!!  As mentioned elsewhere on this forum, it is frustrating to not be able to finde any type of documentation about how to set the software up and what the various options do to the way it runs.

Please email support@stardock.com and we can grab some logs and see what is not working.

Because it appears there has been confusion on what MP does, after everything is set up, if you move your mouse past the edge of the monitor of your primary, does it move to the secondary?  Or are you expecting to see the secondary's video on the primary screen?

Actually, I understand what the software does.  I have two monitors on my main system.  The primary monitor is on the right and the secondary monitor is on the left. I use the "extended screen" option on the main computer.  No matter where I move the mouse on either the primary or the secondary monitor, the mouse never moves over to the screen on the laptop. I've tried top, bottom, right, left, up and down with no success.  I will try your support team next.
